New Nia Classes in August

New Nia Classes are coming to
College Hill Recreation Commission.

First class is July 27th, 2010. To kick things off we are holding a free class demo on that day.

Nia has been in Cincinnati for nearly 10 years and it is different from any exercise you may have experienced. It is a cardiovascular workout that is traditionally done barefoot. Nia combines Martial Arts, Dance Arts and Healing Arts creating a transformational movement practice that honors the pleasure principle. Nia not only shapes body; it puts joy in a cardio workout. Nia builds confidence in the body and mind. Nia also helps the participants discover personal power, nurture self-healing and expands potential. Nia has the potential to be an artistic outlet.
